About
Developed in 1988 in response to the increase of HIV/AIDS and its effects on children and families, our program continues to provide family-centered multidisciplinary hospital based medical treatment in a friendly environment. While our primary role is the treatment of individuals with HIV/AIDS, affected siblings are also able to access many of the services. Older adolescents are assisted with the transition to young adulthood and can remain with most of their providers. Pre- and post-test counseling is available as well as routine, sick, emergency and inpatient medical care. Parent counseling, support groups for children and adolescents, tutoring and mentoring are also available as well as activities and outings that promote healthy development.
