ART AND MUSIC
Arts exposure has been provided at clinic sites through Free Arts and via the donated efforts of art therapists. Outings to the Metropolitan Museum of Art are planned for both fall and spring, while regular art projects (the messier the better), are arranged for clinic day lessons with the Child Life Specialists and volunteers.

A variety of musical instruments are available for use by children and youth. Piano lessons are a great favorite with the younger clients, often having had their interest piqued by trying out "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" or "Lean on Me" on one of the small keyboards in the clinic waiting rooms. Guitar lessons begin each fall as volunteer instructors return from summer vacations.
